MPW class today

Today i'm having the MPW subject class & tat is Malaysian Studies. This subject almost like the History subject + Pengajian Am subject in it....so i quite confuse of it bcoz since i'm studying in malay then goin into college have to study again in english..then wat for i learn in malay during secondary school? Reli confuse bout it n doubt on it....
